Accessing Kernel Outlook PST Viewer in SUSA¶
Kernel Outlook PST Viewer is a tool used to open and read Outlook Personal Storage Table (PST) files without needing Outlook installed. A PST file is a local data file used by Microsoft Outlook to store emails, attachments, contacts, and calendar items on a user’s device.
Download Kernel Outlook PST Viewer.
Move the downloaded executable to C:\Tools\Kernel Outlook PST Viewer folder and double click the executable. Click Next, accept the license agreement. Select default options and click Next.
Once the install is complete, click Finish.
This creates a desktop shortcut and launches the application.
Right click the Kernel Outlook PST Viewer desktop shortcut and select Properties. Record the application location (C:\Program Files (x86)\Kernel Outlook PST Viewer\Kernel Outlook PST Viewer.exe).
Move the shortcut to C:\Tools\Kernel Outlook PST Viewer.
Double click Kernel Outlook PST Viewer to verify that it runs without an error.
